JSFD welcomes our new Co-Editor, Adam Cohen, Ph.D. to the Editorial Team
The Journal of Sport for Development (JSFD) is pleased to announce that Adam Cohen, Ph.D. will be joining the Editorial team and taking on the role of the Co-Editor. After three years contributing to JSFD as a member of the Editorial Board, Adam sees this next step as a natural progression in his commitment to furthering the knowledge and impact of sport within society and his overall dedication to advancing the mission of JSFD.
Currently, Adam is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Technology Sydney within the UTS Business School and Major Coordinator within the Sport Business Undergraduate program. With an academic background in sport management and sport leadership, Adam’s work has focused on issues around sports participation and motivation, social capital, gender inequalities and partnerships and collaborations within sport for development programs.
In his research, he leverages his experiences and knowledge gained from working and volunteering within the sport for development sector along with his previous experiences in the non-profit and public policy space for 20 years where he worked closely with practitioners, program designers and organizations.
The JSFD team welcomes Adam to the team, and we are looking forward to his leadership in the Co-Editor role!
