JSFD is currently seeking submissions for Volume 1, expecting to publish in June 2012. Articles should be submitted using the online submission page by
15 February 2012.

JSFD invites original research and case studies related to Sport for Development from across disciplines, thematic areas, and geographies. Types of articles JSFD aims to publish:

- Outcome evaluations of SFD programmes
- Process evaluations of SFD programmes (quantitative and/or qualitative)
- Intervention designs and best practices
- Systematic reviews
- Case studies capturing innovative practices/ideas
- Commentaries (solicited)
- Letters to the editor

All articles will undergo a rigorous peer review process.
